“It might not work”, but do it anyway and live your potential!
Most of the time, we try to hide in our mental cocoon. It feels safer. It feels risky disturbing our firmly held beliefs, habits and relationships. It feels risky to do anything that “might not work”.
Our heartbeats go up, we sweat and we are anxious whenever there are changes ahead.
It feels safer not to disturb the status quo, let alone challenge it.
It feels safer not to try.
When we are paralysed by worrying about how people will react. When we place more value on other people’s opinion or criticism than what we believe in. When someone’s perspective or perception stops us from living our potential. It’s time to realise we are onto something.
If that sounds like you. Congratulations. You have found the key to letting your genius out. To putting out into the world your book, or your art or your business idea. It’s time to press the “ship” button. You deserve it and your audience deserve to hear it.
Let go of your attachment to your reputation. Your reputation is only as good as your audacity to put what’s inside you out into the world. And you need to put out some less than perfect stuff out before the really good juicy stuff comes out.
You are on the right track if you are sweating. Just do it anyway! You will be grateful you pressed the “ship” button.
