You are a SUPERHERO! Whether you know it or not!

It turns out that most people do not delight in their own good qualities, their virtues and their own self worth enough.
Words are powerful. Words are thoughts. If we want to change our world, we have to change our interpretation of ourselves first. We have to change our minds.
A good place to start is to intentionally bring more friendly words to our mind to describe ourselves. Most of us look at ourselves like a mean headmistress, looking for faults and reasons to punish ourselves.
So when we look at ourselves, we only see what we haven’t done, and we only see things we have done badly, or results we did not achieved or our shortcomings. In other words we find all our faults and then tell ourselves we are defined by our faults. We see what is missing from our lives rather than what is abundant in our lives.
No wonder we are so depressed.
Hey, I want to challenge you to see yourself as a superhero.
You have a healthy body, healthy enough to be able to read this. You have some friends. You did some work today which contributed to the wellbeing of part the world. You have some money in the bank (never enough! But good enough mate!). You said hi to some people this morning. You smiled at least once………………Hey, I haven’t even finished yet, and you can get the idea. That you can go on for a while counting your own good stuff and all your virtues.
Call yourself a superhero from now on. And see all the things and good points you have rather than what’s missing.
Change your thoughts from looking for what’s wrong to delighting in your good qualities and the good stuff that are there staring at you, but which you have refused to acknowledge. By changing your thoughts, your life will change.
