To adopt the default mode or not, that is the transformation question!

Default modes are convenient. It’s by definition the mode we instinctively go to due to our habit energy which has put us onto autopilot mode and hence the default mode is what we are run on.

It’s what we have been practicing all our lives and so it’s very comfortable and familiar. It takes a lot of guts and clarity to have a conversation with ourselves each time when we need to have a response, whether we should open our mind to other options apart from the default mode (option).

In short we are all victims of our own default modes. We are limited by our default mode.

What if we suddenly decide that we are no limit people. What if we suddenly decide that we get to decide our response after we let all non default modes come into our consciousness and be given equal opportunity to be chosen.

Suddenly we are no longer the lazy old me. We are no longer the limiting me. We are the new “no limit” me.

We can suddenly become someone who decides to send only love to people who have not been what expected them to be. Instead of the default mode of sending them resentment, we can send only love.

When we face difficulties or problems, instead of the default mode of feeling angry, we can actually love and embrace the difficulties and problems, and see them as teachers to teach us resilience and skills.

By reframing the way we see what comes to us, and deciding to have a conversation with ourselves on whether we have to blindly adopt the default mode, we are already setting ourselves up for transformation………..
