Here’s to a limitless you!

Limit or no limit, that is the question!  Limit or no limit, that is our choice.

It turns out that we make choices every millisecond by creating thoughts which we then repackage as “solid”, “objective” and “permanent” reality. We then clothe ourselves in self limiting thoughts.

These choices then inform how everything our body and our mouth (speech) act as they  are like the servants of our mind.

So it turns out that we create thoughts which either limit us or liberate us.

This then leads to the “simple to see” realisation that to remove all the limits that we are imprisoning ourselves, we have to simply change our minds.

It’s very simple and easy to see that we create our own limits but it’s not so easy to actually believe in it enough to do the scary thing. It’s scary to say : “yes the limits are self created” because it immediately implies that they have to be removed by ourselves.

I would suggest that there are 3 main reasons why we choose (may be consciously or subconsciously) to keep the limits:

— We know deep inside that we create the limits but we feel depressed by them because we somehow feel guilty and blame ourselves

— We blame exterior factors or other people for putting the limits on us

— We deny the limits

If we can face and accept that the above 3 reasons get in the way of us being honest about the limits: “yes, they are there and I am responsible for them.” Once we own up to the responsibility of the limits, and then we tell ourselves that we are courageous enough to stare at the limits and see them for they are worth: self created to avoid leaping into the “beautiful discomfort zone”, we can start removing them one by one.

I am curious, how many of us are now going to open the doors to the limitless us?
