What on “your” mind? (Sorry, yours or mine?)

I opened Facebook just now and this question popped out at me.  I realised that Zuckerberg got it all wrong. I mean, he should have asked himself this question.

I am not being rude to him. I am just saying that this is the question I should have been asking myself.  And Zuckerberg should have asked himself this question. I mean we should all ask ourselves this question.

What a great question! If only we direct it in the right direction.

Most of us (myself included) are exhausting ourselves running around looking for causes of our mental states outside of ourselves, as if our minds have got nothing to do with how we see others and the world.

What’s in you mind can be rephrased as “what are your thoughts?”. Are you aware of your own thoughts?   Are you aware that you can be liberated from the tyranny of your own negative thoughts?

The moment we accept 100% responsibility for our own thoughts, is the moment we can start developing our infinite potential.

It’s so much more juicy when I ask myself “what’s on your mind?”, than Facebook asking me “what’s on your mind?”.   When I ask myself this question, I am beginning to get closer to my own mind, get familiar with all the positive and negative states of my own mind, and allow ourselves to be aware of our own minds, and nothing less than getting our life back.

I am curious, how many of us believe that it is our birthright to be in touch of our own mind, be intimate with our mind and to gradually discard our mental burdens and to allow happiness to come?
