“Have to do it” or “Get to do it”…………..does it matter?

It matters if our experience of each living moment matters. It matters if we want a smile on our face..
Which one will make us happier? Which one will make us more miserable?
“I have to have lunch with the queen “ or “I get to have lunch with the queen “
“I have to help grandma wash the toilet” or “I get to help grandma wash the toilet”
“I have to work till late” or “I get to work till late”
“Have to” and “get to” are totally different stories we tell ourselves…………
”have to” : we are telling ourselves the story that we would rather be doing something else, that it’s unfair, and we rather do less of it
“Get to”: we are telling ourselves we are privileged to be having an opportunity to do it. Through these two words we tell ourselves a story of gratitude, that we are blissed out to be alive and to be able to generously do something valuable for ourselves and others…….
I will work at telling myself more “get to do it”…..stories and experience more smiles .
